david desharnais rangers blues
Remember when David Desharnais was a Ranger?

The Rangers are back at it tonight against St. Louis in another game against a playoff opponent. The Blues were awful to start the year, but have righted the ship and been on an absolute tear. They are a virtual lock for the playoffs now after being near the bottom as late as November.

The Rangers are playing some terrible hockey lately, save for Alex Georgiev saving them in Toronto. That’s fine. The more distance between the Rangers and the tank professionals in Buffalo, the better. Buffalo has just three points since the trade deadline. The Rangers have five points. Yet the Rangers are still within striking distance of Detroit and the Devils, who play each other tonight.
