The Rangers are in Buffalo tonight looking to potentially spoil the Sabres’ playoff hopes. Buffalo sits two spots and four points out of a playoff spot and may look to add at the deadline to push those playoff dreams. The Rangers are holding on to the spoiler role as long as their UFAs are still around and not being shipped off.

The Blueshirts are basically a one-line team and a goalie right now. If that top line scores a bunch and whichever goalie makes some key saves, they win games. It’s not the best approach, but at least we’ve seen the awakening of Mika Zibanejad.
