Rangers sign Jimmy Vesey

The post-Cody McLeod era in New York begins tonight, as the Rangers take on the Bruins. The Blueshirts have put together a good string of performances lately, controlling play and, for the most part, limiting scoring chances against. What doomed they against the Kings was lack of talent, which is what happens in a rebuild. The good process is certainly a welcome change from the December and January train wrecks.

The Bruins are trying to hold on to relevancy in the Atlantic, as Tampa has run away with the top spot and Toronto has made waves with deadline moves. The Bs train the Habs by a point in the standings, but they do have Tuukka Rask back after the unfortunate incident where Charlie McAvoy shoved Filip Chytil into him. He’s not starting tonight, but he is back.
