The Rangers are back at it this afternoon in Arizona, taking on old friend Derek Stepan and the Coyotes. The Rangers have been outscored 13-3 in their previous two games, and it looks like a good number of players have given up. At some point, we knew the bottom would fall out on the overachieving Rangers of October, and it certainly has.
On the bright side, the lineup is changing. Tony DeAngelo, who has been a scratch for some inexplicable reason that defies all logic, is back in the lineup. He’s no saving grace, but the veterans are bad and DeAngelo is far from the only problem. So may as well play him and see what he has.
Brendan Smith is back…hooray.
