This is a weird schedule. The Rangers have played twice in 11 days and four times all month, and it’s already halfway through to the new year! I don’t know who made this schedule, but what gives? It’s like we forgot the Rangers actually have 50 more hockey games to play. Maybe the break came at the right time, since the Blueshirts have won just once so far, and based on the rest of the schedule for December, might not win many others.
Anywho, the Rangers are going to need to get used to life without Kevin Shattenkirk for a while. But on the bright side they get Mats Zuccarello and Pavel Buchnevich back. Adam McQuaid is back too.
