Finding the ideal role for Jimmy Vesey has proven tougher than initially thought

After a week off, the Rangers are in Sunrise tonight to take on the Panthers in a game that may have draft lottery implications. As it stands today, the Rangers are ahead of the Panthers, but only by two points. Florida is a team I have pegged to eventually pass the Rangers in the standings, and a Florida win would do them wonders. Not that anyone is hoping the Rangers lose, but it certainly isn’t the worst thing in the world anymore.

As for our Blueshirts, they’ve been absolutely dreadful lately. They’ve forgotten basic fundamentals and have been borderline lazy. On the bright side, the week off was no picnic. They were worked by David Quinn, and worked hard. We will see if that has any impact on them.
