Defensemen K’Andre Miller (2018, 1st), and Joey Keane (2018, 3rd) have been named to the preliminary roster for the US team for 2019 World Juniors. It is expected that Miller will be a shoo-in for the team, as he is currently tearing it up with Wisconsin (3-12-15 in 16 games).
Keane was a bit of a sleeper pick by the Rangers in the third round, but has been nothing but solid for the Barrie Colts in the OHL. He has a line of 3-15-18 in 25 games. Keane is one of two RHD’s on the list, so I would be surprised if he doesn’t make the team.
