Bobrovsky will fade into oblivion next year just like every other goalie who edges out Lundqvist every year.

Probably. Especially since they will be in the same division.

Now that there’s some pressure on columbus to make the playoffs hes going to choke.

I don’t know about that. When are they gonna start talking turkey on an extension? His current deal runs through next season so any deal signed wont have any impact on the declining salary cap. I get the whole coaching search but its over with now. They’d better get to it. Especially if they fired Torts to satisfy him.

Good goalies come and go, a different one every year, but, Lundquist goes on forever. The most consistently great goalie in the world.

I thought Boucher would do well here with the goaltending and quick defenseman we have here. His 1-3-1 is perfect for the Rangers Defense and their forwards that are used to Back checking for ice time. His best season in TB was his 1st. Could’ve been one year we ran right to the cup. Brassard would’ve done well there. Oh well. Not to be, I just hope AV doesn’t wanna tear up the roster.

Stepan finished ahead of Callahan for the Selke? Huh?

I’m not a Stepan fan, but he’s defensively. Callahan blocks a lot of shots, but Stepan, like Anisimov and Dubinsky, is much better at covering his man and getting his stick in passing lanes.

Funny how these people vote for the different trophys!

Bob had a very season with the Blue Jackets, now if he is worth his weight in salt, repeat the same performance again, and again.

On a lighter side, Filthadelphia has been searching for a goalie since the passing of Pelle Lindberg. Well they drafted Bob, then signed the space man, traded Bob, and he wins the Vezina, now that is ironic, and funny as hell!!
