Andrew Yogan notched the only goal for the AHL’s Connecticut Whale in their 5-1 dismantling by the St. John’s IceCaps. Nick Palmieri and Kris Newbury were credited with assists for the goal, but that was the lone bright spot for the Whale. Seven players finished with a minus rating –which isn’t all that surprising considering the score– and their goaltending and defense was horrible. Luckily the Whale still sit in second place in their division, having overcome a horrid start to the season.
