Scratched tonight: Derek Boogaard (concussion symptoms), Alex Frolov (knee), Chris Drury (knee) and Martin Biron (collarbone).

STATE OF THE BLUESHIRTS: The Rangers looked improved against the Senators and actually took some chances and finished a lot better than they have recently. With practically every result in the conference going against the Blueshirts recently they need to string together some wins and need to solve this Flyers team who lost to Buffalo yesterday after having a good lead.  The Flyers have also lost 3 straight. The Rangers have Gaborik and McDonagh back in the line up which should help immeasurably. Is Gaborik symptom free? We’ll find out this afternoon.

CRAZY THOUGHT: Rangers actually beat the Flyers?
