Scratched tonight: Vinny Prospal (knee), Ryan Callahan (hand), Derek Boogaard (concussion symptoms), and Michael Del Zotto (groin).

STATE OF THE BLUESHIRTS: The Rangers are coming off a complete dismantling of the Islanders, and look to finish the year out strong with another win against the lowly Devils. This is another one of those “not a must win but really should be a a must win” games because the Devils are just awful. To stay in the playoff hunt, the Rangers need points against bad teams. Hopefully they gained confidence, and not cockiness, out of the win on Monday night and look to improve upon that tonight.

CRAZY THOUGHT: MZA gets a goal.

OPPONENT’S BLOG: Fire and Ice
