Scratched tonight: Chris Drury (finger), Vinny Prospal (knee), Todd White (healthy), and Matt Gilroy (healthy).

STATE OF THE BLUESHIRTS: The Rangers have won two in a row, and six of their last eight games. It seems weird to say that, because it doesn’t look like they are playing their best hockey out there. However, good teams find ways to win despite not playing their best, and the Rangers are doing a great impression of a good team. Don’t get me wrong, they are trending up, but I don’t consider them to be in the upper echelon of teams in the Eastern Conference right now. Tonight is the first of a home-and-home with the Senators, with the conclusion coming on Thursday. The Senators aren’t that good, and are having trouble scoring and playing defense, so another sweep would be nice.

CRAZY THOUGHT: Rozsival gets a goal.
