Potter… why?

With Michael Del Zotto likely to miss Sundays tilt against the Tampa Bay Lightning on Sunday I can”t help feeling the Rangers missed  a chance. Would it hurt their already fading payoff chances if they had another look at Bobby Sanguinetti? Surely the young offensive blueliner is a bigger part of the Rangers future than 25 year old Potter so a game at the MSG would be more chance to see what he can do. Right now the Rangers need to analyse what they have got going forward. I cant help feeling that Potters time would have already come by now IF it was going to come….

Im willing to admit im wrong about last night. A great gutsy victory by the Rangers.

On Olympic news. Do you think The King can take the Swedes to more Olympic glory? I wrote an article at nasports.co.uk where we discussed the Swedish entry. I think once they get to the medal round (yes, they will get there) Henrik has the ability to make the difference. They werent expected to get gold last time and arent this time. It may be playing exactly into their and Henrik’s hands.

However…. thinking Rangers… do we really want Sweden to go far?!

  1. I believe Potter was caled up over Sanuenetti for
2 reasons; first cap issues…Potter makes 550K & Sanguenetti close to a Million…and secondly team brass wants to see Potter before making a final decision on him..he’s an UFA after this season.
