After some more changes, the Rangers are back home, looking to get back on the winning track.

OPPONENT: Sabres

RECORD: 18-9-2

LEADING SCORER: Derek Roy, with 23 points

GOALIE: Ryan Miller, with a 1.82 GAA and a .940 save percentage

RANGERS LINES:

Nothing defintive, but here’s my guess:

Higgins-Prospal-Gaborik

Avery-Drury-Callahan

Boyle-Anisimov-Kotalik

Brashear-Christensen-Parenteau.

D-pairs:

Marc Staal-Michal Rozsival

Michael Del Zotto-Dan Girardi

Wade Redden-Ilkka Heikkinen

Lundqvist in net.

STATE OF THE BLUESHIRTS: In flux. After two pretty good games against Buffalo and Detroit, they were saved by Lundqvist in Chicago, and only got a point. Now, Matt Gilroy is in Hartford. I’m not sure what kind of effect that will have on the team. I hope that we can get some scoring. Higgins is starting to come out of that drought. Gaborik hasn’t scored in awhile. The defense isn’t that good, and you have to wonder if Redden is healthy. Kotalik is a disaster, as has the PP. There are a couple good things about this team: Gaborik, Hank, PK, and MDZ. That’s about it right now. Sadly, that may be enough for the Rangers to squeak into the playoffs. A win tonight is big.

CRAZY THOUGHT: Chris Drury gets into a fight

ON THE iPOD: Dream Like New York, By Tyrone Wells

FINAL PREDICTION: At home, I see a win. Rangers 2, Sabres 0

Watch, discuss, have fun. LET’S GO RANGERS!!!
