STATE OF THE RANGERS: Not bad. Sure, they lost in pretty devastating fashion against the Wings, but they played really well, and outplayed the Sabres. Redden is back. Higgins and Callahan are starting to score. Drury has looked pretty good. So has Boyle. They’ve done a really nice job of forechecking. They’re playing sound defensive hockey. Just not getting the right breaks. If they play well enough for a good amount of time, the breaks will start bouncing in their favor.

CRAZY THOUGHT: Gaborik has a hat trick (although, that isn’t that crazy, isn’t it?)

ON THE iPOD: Inaudible Melodies, by Jack Johnson

FINAL PREDICTION: Rangers 4, Blackhawks 3

So watch, discuss, have fun. LET’S GO RANGERS!
