STATE OF THE BLUESHIRTS: Looking up. A good win against Buffalo. Higgins scored. Callahan scored. Hank was terrific. Avery played well. They played a pretty flawless game against a pretty good team. Now, they will try to build upon this against a struggling, or underachieving, Red Wings team. Without Marian Hossa, this team is different. The injury to Johan Franzen hurts them, and my fantasy team. They aren’t the same team as last year, but they are still pretty good. The Rangers will need to play a similar type game against the Red Wings as they did against Buffalo. Solid defensively, strong in net, timely scoring.

CRAZY THOUGHT: Ilkka Heikkinen scores

ON THE iPOD: September, by Kalai

FINAL PREDICTION: Rangers 3, Red Wings 1

Watch, discuss, have fun. Most of all LET’S GO RANGERS!!!!

  • I’m on a train to Delaware….yes…Delaware. So I can’t watch. I’m on a wireless card though, so I may get to listen to the radio feed.

      • 1-1 with about 3 minutes left. The Rangers just had 3 Power plays and didn’t score (although some pretty good chances. Aves missed an open net). Cleary throws it in front from behind the net, squeaks through, as Hank tries to squeeze it with his pads, he kicks it in. game over

  • when you cannot score your goalie cannot give up freebie’s.. lisin is in the dog house big time..

drury looks slow man… srury, cally, higgins, etc. go to the bricklayer school for shooters….
