The Baby Rangers dropped another disappointing game, this time to the Red Wings by a score of 4-1. Ryan Gropp got the lone goal, with an assist from Brandon Crawley. Outside of that, there was nothing to write home about. Chris Nell made 32 saves on 35 shots.

The Rangers play the Stars today at 3pm in the 7th place game. A win would be super so they avoid last place.

After their nice win over the Baby Hawks on Friday, the Rangers fell to the Baby Canes by a score of 4-0. The Canes have an impressive collection of prospects, so the blowout loss isn’t that surprising. Alex Georgiev stopped 29 of 32 shots.

The Rangers will take on the Red Wings on Monday to finish out round robin play. They will have one more game on Tuesday, opponent TBD.

The Rangers are up against Carolina next, with puck drop at 3:30 today. Here’s the lineup for that game:

I’m a little delayed on this, but here is the roster for the 2017 Traverse City Tournament. The Rangers have participated in the event for the past 11 years. In each of those tournaments, at least one player in the tournament has played with the Rangers. This year appears to be no different, with a few kids fighting for roster spots on the TC roster.

The tournament kicks off on September 8, with the round robin portion ending on September 11. There will be at least one additional placement game on September 12.
