WCF Game 2 Open Thread

Haven’t done one of these in a while, that’s my bad. I think the open thread thing is a good idea, epecially when there’s some good hockey on. Preds/Kings in Game Two, with the Kings leading 1-0. The Yankees (vs. Orioles) and Mets (vs. Brewers) are also in action, although that Met game might get rained out. As for basketball, you have the Pacers/Heat and Clippers/Spurs tonight.

Discuss whatever your hearts desire, just keep it civil.

Sunday Open Thread

It’s beautiful day outside, so I recommend you go out and play. But for those of you looking to watch some hockey or local sports, the Devils and Flyers kick off their series today at 3pm, with Nashville and Phoenix playing Game Two of their series tonight at 8pm. As for the local teams, the Yankees are currently on the field against the Tigers, and the Mets will play at 3pm against the Rockies.

Use this as your open thread for the day. Discuss whatever you want, just keep it clean.

Game Seven Open Thread

Tonight is the first of three Game Seven’s in the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals, as the Bruins are hosting the Capitals in a do or die for both teams. Game time is 7:30 on NBCSN. I’d rather the Bruins win this series. Much rather face Philly than Washington. Braden Holtby scares me.

Other local teams in action are the Knicks vs. Clippers at 8pm, Mets vs. Marlins at 7:10pm, and the Yankees vs. Rangers at 8:05pm.Use this as your open thread for tonight. Discuss anything you want, but keep it civil.

Open Thread: Panthers look to take out Devils

There is only one hockey game tonight, as the Panthers are in New Jersey looking to eliminate the Devils in Game Six tonight at The Rock. That game starts at 7:30pm. Local teams in action are the Mets, who welcome back Jose Reyes and the Florida Miami Marlins tonight, and the Yankees (at Texas).

Use this as your open thread for the night. Discuss whatever you like, just keep it civil.

Open Thread: Two potential clinchers tonight

It’s a bit of a light schedule tonight for the NHL, with just two games tonight. The Pens will try to extend their series with the Flyers tonight at 7:30 in Pittsburgh. At 8:00pm, the Predators will try to close out their series at home against the Red Wings. We could see both series end tonight.

Across the other sports, the Knicks (7:30 at Cleveland) and Mets (7:00pm vs. SF) are in action as well. Discuss what you want, just keep it civil.

Thursday night open thread

Since people appeared to enjoy the last open thread we had on Tuesday, we are going to continue these until the end of the playoffs. The Devils/Panthers, Bruins/Caps, ‘Yotes/Hawks, and Blues/Sharks are all in action tonight. The Yankees/Twins game is also on tonight.

Talk about whatever you want, just play nice.  Enjoy!
