The Rangers are back at it tonight. It’s a busy month for the Blueshirts, after all. Tonight it’s the surprisingly good Canucks, who are riding sensation Elias Petterson to a 10-6-2 record to start the season. I don’t think anyone knows how the Canucks are doing it, because everything about their lineup says lottery team. But here we are.

As for the Rangers, Pavel Buchnevich is out with a broken thumb. Ryan Spooner slides into his top line role. Lias Andersson slides into the second line winger spot with Hayes and Kreider. Filip Chytil is still on the fourth line. Death, taxes, lineup changes.
