The Rangers are back at it tonight, taking on a woeful Montreal team that, like the Rangers, is fighting for a top pick. Well, that’s what we thought we would be saying, but Montreal is 8-4-2 and surprising a lot of people thus far. The roster isn’t that talented, but they are winning.
As for the Blueshirts, they are winners of three in a row and going for their fourth tonight. Brett Howden is out, but Lias Andersson has been recalled to take his spot tonight. It’s like missing out on the Lexus but getting the Audi, at least in terms of prospects. Between those two and Filip Chytil, the future down the middle looks bright.
