Game 11: The west coast swing starts in LA

The Rangers are out west, completing their California swing. Their first stop is LA for a date with the struggling Kings. Jonathan Quick has returned from injury, but has looked horrible in his return. The Kings hemorrhage goals and have trouble scoring. The Rangers have trouble scoring and are inconsistent on defense. But they have been receiving elite goaltending. This game will likely come down to whichever team can click on offense.

It looks like Tony DeAngelo will be back in action tonight, with Adam McQuaid being a late scratch due to an undisclosed injury. The lines got a shakeup as well, but Vinni Lettieri still appears to be the odd-man out.

It appears that Hank getting a shutout is the only way they will win. But hey….LGR!

Big contrast in goal between the Rangers and Kings. The King’s goalie can’t stop a beach ball and Henk is lights out.

After today’s game, 3 Ranger defensemen—Skjei, Pionk, and DeAngelo—each have more points than Kevin Hayes. Wish Hayes would start producing.

Yep if Kevin Hayes wants Mario Lemieux money, he needs to start playing like him.

DeAngelo also has more points in three games than Adam McQuaid has in 8 and than Smith has in 11.

The Rangers are cursed. Islands drafted Mathew Barzal, a up and coming super star, at 1st rd 18th overall….Rangers drafted Lias Andersson, an avg 3rd or 4th line C in NHL at best, at 1st round 7th overall. CURSED.

Is it a curse or just stupidity? ?

K’Andre is going to be the real deal.

Keider was bad and what are they thinking moving Chytil around ever 2 seconds. They decided to keep him up this year no more 4th line. Put him with the 2 Z’s and leave him alone until Xmas.
