The Rangers have placed forward Matt Beleskey on waivers. Beleskey was injured in preseason and could not be waived/cut until he was off IR. Now that he is healthy, the Rangers will likely send him to Hartford.
If/When he is sent to Hartford, Beleskey’s cap hit will be $875,000 at the NHL level, a savings of $1.025 million on the cap.
