The Rangers are just 1-4 to start the season, and haven’t looked very good. This was relatively expected, at least in the early going, as there is a new coach, new system, decent turnover, poor finishing luck to start the season, and a pretty poor blue line. It’s going to be a lot of pain for this season, and tonight may be another one of those painful games.

Colorado can seemingly score at will this season, with 19 goals in just five games. Combine that with a porous Rangers blue line still learning the system, and it could be a recipe for disaster. Of course that’s why they play the game though, as we thought that about Nashville, and that’s the game the Rangers won.
