David Quinn has shaken up the lines. This coming after a win, something that we are not used to from the Alain Vigneault era.
Overall, #NYR practice: Kreider-Zibanejad-Fast, Buchnevich-Howden-Zuccarello, Vesey-Hayes-Spooner, Namestnikov-Chytil-Lettieri. (McLeod extra)
Skjei-Shattenkirk, Staal-Pionk, Claesson-Smith (DeAngelo-McQuaid).— Brett Cyrgalis (@BrettCyrgalis) October 12, 2018
While I am not a big fan of DeAngelo getting scratched, Claesson certainly earned another game in the lineup. Also, I’m here all day for Skjei-Shattenkirk. That should have been the top pairing from the get-go. It’s also good to see Howden’s play being rewarded with top-six minutes.
