Rangers recall Vinny Lettieri

The Rangers have recalled forward Vinny Lettieri for tonight’s game against Montreal. Lettieri has been yo-yo’d a bit this year, but I would venture a guess this is his final call up. He will probably stick around, with the rumors that are floating around.

There are no injuries to report, and Chris Kreider is rumored to be ready to return. Something is coming.

"Rangers recall Vinny Lettieri", 5 out of 5 based on 3 ratings.

Hearing Grabner could be traded and this is the reason for Lettieri’s call up.

Rangers holding out for Nash and McD, to get better returns.

AV staying for the rest of the year (Sather insisting on it) and then will be gone after this season.

Holding out for more for McDonough, even into the off season, to get a proper return makes a lot of sense. He still has a year left. But, dealing him soon makes sense too because right now his trade value is at its highest because of that year that remains at a reasonable cost.

As for Nash, they do need to trade the guy or they will lose them to free agency. I doubt that a player of his caliber would want to re-sign at a discount.

AV gone after the season? I hope that they bring in a young coach and a young staff (but keep Benny of course.)

          Exciting and interesting times!

            If I were to say:

            Grabner, soon, if not today.
            Nash, over the weekend.
McD, 50/50 if the deal is right, if not he stays for now.
            Could be others, maybe.

Well, 1 for 1 so far. Grabner traded yesterday.

Nash already declared out of tonight’s game against the Wild.

thinking it’s a trade. From what I have read they are not to excited to rush Kreider back, which is fine by me. Make sure he’s 100% and ready to go…

Kreids needs to take one for the team and sit his butt down for the 20 games.

Let’s not risk an injury here – those blood clots are tricky.

Michael Grabner, the Austrian Flash, ist ransant!

He will be dearly missed. Because he apparently loved playing in New York, perhaps the Rangers would have a shot at signing him again. But, he very deservedly is going to get a big raise from whoever signs him, so coming back to the Rangers might unlikely.

I just hope the team that gets him deploys him to his best advantage like the Rangers did. He has has been a pleasure to watch. I wish him well wherever he ends up.

Grabner was the only one on the block that I didn’t want to go! Damnit. I thought he deserved an extension. He’ll definitely want way more money this summer than he would’ve taken in an extension, therefore I doubt he’ll be back.

      Look at it this way.

There are several teams much better then the Rangers who don’t have Grabner on them.

Maybe one day we can be that good without him too!
