Per Steve Zipay, Alain Vigneault switched up the lines at practice to account for the return of Rick Nash and the absence of Derick Brassard. Nash had been out for about six weeks with a bone contusion, and Brassard is now out with flu like symptoms. The lines were adjusted, and we appear to be getting the long-awaited Nash-Eric Staal combination.

JT Miller-Derek Stepan-Mats Zuccarello
Rick Nash-Eric Staal-Viktor Stalberg
Chris Kreider-Kevin Hayes-Jesper Fast
Oscar Lindberg-Dominic Moore-Tanner Glass

The defense pairings remained the same, with Marc Staal, back in the lineup, being paired with Dan Boyle.
