Rangers return J.T. Miller to Hartford

J.T. Miller was sent back to the Hartford Wolf Pack of the AHL today, likely to make room for the returning Mats Zuccarello. Miller was called up as an injury replacement for Zucc, notching a goal and an assist and averaging 12:30 in ice time in his three games.

Didn’t he score a goal as well?

    Oops. My bad.

Does that mean Zucc may start tonight or just fill in with Dorsett until Friday? (thought they said he was day to day but would likely not play tonight, although I could be confusing that)

This move actually makes room for Diaz. Seems a little dicey as the Rangers are down to 13 forwards – including Zuke (expected not ready) and St. Louis (who isn’t guaranteed to make it).

St. Louis made it, so he will play. If they plan on playing the 12 healthy guys today, then it makes sense since Miller is the only one they could have sent down real quick. Falk requires waivers.

Miller had to be on the AHL roster today ,
To be eligible to play down there
