Lines for Rangers prospects at Traverse City

Per Steve Zipay, the forward lines for the Traverse City tournament are below:

Danny Kristo, Oscar Lindberg, Jesper Fast
Kyle Jean, Michael St. Croix, Thomas Spelling
Josh Nicholls, Andrew Yogan, Anthony Duclair
Klarc Wilson, Michael Kantor, Paxton Leroux

That top line is not going to be fun for the opposition to play against. It’s truly a shame that these won’t be televised or streamed online. The Rangers website said they will post highlights and recaps though.

  1. Kristo should not be playing in this tournament.
He’s always playing against younger, less experienced players. Just like Kreider, who also struggles against people his age or older.

Danny Kristo is a week older than Michael Del Zotto, who has already played 4 complete years in the NHL.

So, what’s the point in not playing this tournament?

    • Tony says:

Kristo has played 4 years of college hockey. He has all of 9 AHL games under his belt as a pro. Playing against other NHL prospects is a logical step towards moving up the pro ranks. His age is irrelevant. Also, many attribute the fact that the Rangers brought Delzo up so early to his struggles with consistency.

That top line is what I choose also when the roster came out. Without out looking deep into stats, there a line of 3 to 4 pts a game. Incredible
