After Thursday night’s dramatic comeback win, the Rangers are now in Boston with hopes of sending the series back to New York. A lot of people looked at this as winning four in a row, but the Rangers just need to win one. You can’t look ahead to more games when your season relies on winning the game at hand. One win at a time. This team has proven they can come from behind, and now they just need to execute. Torts is 6-1 in elimination games. Making it 7-1 will make Boston sweat.

Why is Asham scratched? I thought he was playing fairly well.

    • Jackson says:

I was thinking the same thing. I came to the conclusion that Torts simply wanted more grit/toughness on his 4th line and Asham hasn’t been meeting expectations in that department. Personally, I think his offensive contributions outweigh that aspect though.

    • Dave says:

I think it was just a matter of the fourth line getting dominated by the Bs and wanting to change it up.

  2. Evan says:

To your completely ridiculous post that torts makes adjustments. Notice how defenseman score at will against us in the postseason? It’s cause torts doesn’t tell our guys to play higher up.

How he doesn’t notice that is laughable

    • Dave says:

That Krug goal is on Eminger being out of position. Forced Cally to cover Seguin in the slot instead of watching the cross ice pass to the weak side.

      • supermaz says:

Lundqvist should have had that one.
Hard to knock him, we would be nowhere without him, but he has no excuse on that one.

  3. Rangers Fan in Boston says:

Well the bruins proved to be the better team. And hamrlik sucks.
