Around the Farm: St. Croix with two goals as Oil Kings take 3-0 series lead

Michael St. Croix continued his high scoring ways in the WHL playoffs yesterday, notching two goals and an assist (and a +3 rating) in Edmonton’s 9-2 dismantling of the Medicine Hat Tigers. Edmonton now leads the series 3-0, and go for the sweep tonight in Medicine Hat. Including yesterday’s game, St. Croix now has 12 points (6-6-12) in 8 playoff games this season.

Sam Noreau was in action on Monday night in the QMJHL playoffs, notching a powerplay goal and a +1 rating in Baie-Comeau Drakkar’s 3-0 win over Victoriaville. Like St. Croix, Noreau’s Baie-Comeau squad goes for the sweep tonight.
