Much of the focus lately has been on Chris Kreider, and how he will play in the AHL after his demotion. Yesterday, Kreider notched his second powerplay goal in as many games since his demotion, scoring the Whale’s second goal en route to a 3-2 victory. The Whale’s goals were scored by Michael Haley and Logan Pyett (OT winner). Assists were put up by Kris Newbury, Brandon Segal (2), Mike Vernace, and Christian Thomas. Thomas has a nice little streak going, with 11 points in 8 games.
