The Connecticut Whale continued their nice run of late with a 3-2 victory over Manchester –Jordan Weal is the prospect of note for the Monarchs, who was taken by the Kings with the third round pick used in the Brian Boyle trade– where seven different Whale notched points. Goals were scored by Christian Thomas, Brandon Mashinter, and Steve Eminger, while Blake Parlett, Michael Haley, Sean Collins, and Brandon Segal (2) all notched assists. The Whale trailed 2-1 late in the third when Segal set up the tying goal (Eminger) and the winning goal (Mashinter) just 16 seconds apart with under three minutes to go.
