Around the Farm: Fogarty’s Irish best Nieves’ Wolverines

Boo Nieves (2012, 2nd) squared off against Steven Fogarty (2011, 3rd) when Michigan faced Notre Dame last night. Fogarty’s Irish may have beaten Nieves’ Wolverines, but it was Nieves who bested Fogarty on the scoreboard. Nieves added a goal and an assist to his impressive totals, and now has a line of 4-3-7 in the past three games for Michigan. Fogarty was held off the scoreboard in the contest.

    Fogarty added an assist in the Saturday night game, he’s now 4/3/7, -3 on the season. Nieves didn’t have a point in the game, which ND won again 6-4. First four game series sweep of Michigan since 1973!
