Zach Parise says he likes Torts, a lot…hmmm

According to Arthur Staple at Newsday, Zach Parise’s father was asked about Zach’s feelings on John Tortorella. His response:

“Zach likes Torts a lot. Zach knows how to work, he doesn’t shy away from the discipline part of it. He’d fit right in there.”

Obviously his father was baited a bit there, but still you have to wonder how this all plays a role in Parise’s decision making come July. Personally, I am not sold on Parise as a New York Ranger, not yet at least until we lock up our key RFAs. Still, regardless of how this postseason ends, Sather will likely at least kick the tires on Parise come July and do his due diligence.
