Game Seven Open Thread

April 25, 2012, by

Tonight is the first of three Game Seven’s in the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals, as the Bruins are hosting the Capitals in a do or die for both teams. Game time is 7:30 on NBCSN. I’d rather the Bruins win this series. Much rather face Philly than Washington. Braden Holtby scares me.

Other local teams in action are the Knicks vs. Clippers at 8pm, Mets vs. Marlins at 7:10pm, and the Yankees vs. Rangers at 8:05pm.Use this as your open thread for tonight. Discuss anything you want, but keep it civil.

I agree, would like to see Bruins pull it off tonight, for two reasons. First, if Panthers upset the Devils that would put Rangers up against Flyers second round, as opposed to Capitals, which I think favors the Rangers. Secondly, that leaves hope for a Rangers/Bruins conference finals. That’d be sweet!

But, all comes down to tomorrow night first, gotta beat Ottawa.

Aye, yae, yae… should the Blueshirts overcome the Sens tomorrow night, they’re going up against another hot, young goaltender from the Caps. I don’t like that. Visions of Varlamov still plague me.

Well Washington won last night in Overtime.
