Preview: The magic number is at one. If the game tonight gets to overtime, then the Rangers clinch the #1 seed in the Eastern Conference. That won’t be easy though, the Flyers are likely still steaming after that brawl against Pittsburgh on Sunday. Add that to the beef they already have with the Rangers –a team they are 0-5 against this year– and it makes for a very motivated Flyers team.

This game has the potential to get real ugly real fast. The Flyers are going to look to send a message that the Rangers don’t own them. With a hot Ilya Bryzgalov back in net, the Flyers are just as dangerous as ever. They don’t play defense at all, but that offense has been magnificent. Add in a hot Bryzgalov, and this is a team that can go places and scare a lot of teams in the playoffs.

Crazy Thought: 6-0 against the Flyers this season.
