Preview: The Rangers are on a much publicized seven game winning streak, which includes a win over these Canadiens at MSG. That was the game where Mike Sauer was given a game misconduct after Mike Blunden creamed Brandon Dubinsky with a clean hit (clean in the sense that the hit itself was clean, but the timing was not). The Habs are likely to look for revenge tonight as they felt there should not have been a penalty at all to Blunden, who’s interference penalty wound up costing the Habs the game. This is a winnable game for the Rangers, but they always seem to struggle against the Canadiens, who are getting Scott Gomez back in the lineup tonight.

Crazy Thought: Eminger scores
