Preview: The Rangers stole games in Vancouver and Calgary, but the Oilers wouldn’t let them steal a third in a row. After that disappointing showing, the Rangers need to come back from Winnipeg with at least a point, and preferably two. I had initially said that if they come back with five points in these four games, it would be a success. They have four currently.  Consistency is the biggest thing for the Rangers, as they need to play a full 60 minutes. Showing up for a game in the second period is no longer acceptable.

Crazy Thought: The Rangers score two powerplay goals.

Prediction: The Rangers look lost, but so does Winnipeg. This is going to be a sloppy game…Rangers 3, Jets 2 in a shootout.

Today’s game is on at 8:30pm on MSG and on AM1130 (Bloomberg Radio).
