STATE OF THE BLUESHIRTS: Tonight’s game in Sweden against Frolunda is going to be the Henrik Lundqvist show.  Lundqvist starred with the team before coming to the Rangers, and is a hero in those parts.  He gets to go up against his brother Joel in an arena where he has never walked into the visiting locker room.  He does it with the Rangers “B” squad, as most of the players you will see on opening night are scratched.  I guess they wanted The King to get his work in.

CRAZY THOUGHT:   Del Zotto has a second straight strong game.

PREDICTION: Rangers 3, Frolunda 0.  Yes, predicting a shutout in his return.
