Sorry the link dump is so late folks, but someone by the name of Irene came and went, causing some delays on our end.  Anyway, here is today’s link dump.

Joe Forunato of Blueshirt Banter looks at who the top prospect is for the Rangers.  I agree that in terms of readiness, it’s Tim Erixon.  But in terms of raw ability and potential, it has to be Chris Kreider.  His numbers may not be impressive, but the kid as an NHL level skill set.

Adam Herman of Blueline Station was able to get a chat in with 2011 5th round pick Shane McColgan.  Turns out he started off playing roller hockey, then converted to ice hockey.  Impressive.

Jess Rubenstein of Prospect Park was able to locate an interview with the GM/Coach of the Plymouth Whalers (Mike Vellucci) about why J.T. Miller decided to go the CHL route instead of college.  Definitely worth the read.
