STATE OF THE BLUESHIRTS: That was one great win the Rangers had on Thursday. They now own wins over Dallas, St. Louis, and Vancouver in the span of a week; not too shabby. Tonight it’s the Canadiens, who are the one blip on the radar from last week, when the Rangers lost 2-1 after a lackluster showing. The Rangers are going to look to get even with the Habs after Tuesdays loss, but they could also be caught looking ahead to tomorrow’s game with the Eastern Conference best Flyers (I feel dirty saying that).

CRAZY THOUGHT: Dubinsky wins a fight against Richards. Oops, that’s for tomorrow. I didn’t follow my own advice.
