Will the changes work? We’ll find out, when the Rangers are back at it. (Note: Game is on MSG2 tonight)

OPPONENT: Islanders

RECORD: 13-14-7

LEADING SCORER: John Tavares, 27 points

GOALIE: Dwayne Roloson, with a 2.80 GAA and a .910 save percentage. If Marty Biron starts, he has a 3.33 GAA and a .900 save percentage.

RANGERS LINES:

Don’t know for sure, but here’s my best guess

Higgins-Dubinsky-Gaborik

Callahan-Drury-Prospal

Boyle-Anisimov-Avery

Brashear-Christensen-Lisin

D pairs should be:

Staal-Rosival

Girardi-Del Zotto

Heikkinen-Sanguinetti

Hank is in net. What, you thought Chad Johnson was going to start this game?

STATE OF THE BLUESHIRTS: Ugly. After a horrible performance yesterday against the Islanders, John Tortorella promised changes, and changes were made. Redden benched. Kotalik benched. Will they help? Not sure. It has to work, though. This team needs a kick in the ass, and this is what the coaching staff came up with. Obviously, we would want to see Rosy benched, but I guess we’ll take Redden. The Rangers need to play like their pants are on fire. They don’t have much to lose.

CRAZY THOUGHT: Anisimov gets on the board.

ON THE iPOD: Sleepwalking, by Jay Nash

FINAL PREDICTION: I think the moves will work. Rangers 2, Isles 1

So, watch, discuss, have fun. LET’S GO RANGERS AND POTVIN SUCKS!!!!
