Well, Evgeny Grachev’s Brampton Battalion have at least avoided a sweep, and Grachev avoided going pointless in the series, picking up an assist and +2 last night. That leaves him 0-1-1 and -2 so far for the series. Brampton, down 2-1, will try to even the series Wednesday. Although Grachev is struggling in this series, he is still 11-14-25 and +8 in 19 playoff games this year.

Tysen Dowzak’s Kelowna Rockets won again last night, and Dowzak, wearing an ‘A’, was a +1 in the game. That leaves him 0-2-2 and +3 so far in the series. In 19 playoff games, Dowzak is 0-3-3 and a whopping +10. I think he might be of some service next year if he continues to be that solid on the defensive side. Kelowna, up 3-0, goes for the series sweep, the WHL championship, and a trip to the Memorial Cup playoffs Wednesday.
